On 5 May 2015 Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Kvit signed Order No. 504 "Some issues on recognition of foreign diplomas in Ukraine» which approved the Regulation on a recognition of higher education degrees obtained in foreign higher education institutions as well as a recognition by Ukraine the Certificates of secondary, secondary professional and professional education issued by educational authorities of other states (came into force on 26 June 2015 http://zakon1.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/z0614-15).

In accordance with the Regulations, recognition of foreign diplomas and degrees in Ukraine is carrying out by the competent authorities:

- higher education institution - foreign diplomas and degrees in order to it's holder was able to study or job in this institution;

- Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine – foreign diplomas and degrees in order to it's holder was able to study or job in Ukraine.
